Gosh, real sorry to hear that.
My 4520 is setting in a gulley from last Monday when I was back blading and moving snow with the loader into the off to the side gulley and got too close to the down slope. No chains this year. It's an odd feeling when the tractor starts going, and brakes do nothing. Well, its raining and its still out there tonight. Hopefully tomorrow the slippery snow on the frozen ground will be gone enough to fetch it back into the barn.
My real point is, that in your post it said that the tractor slid backwards down a hill before it overturned. Mine was forward and it wasn't that bad. Its an odd feeling when she goes with 90% on the fronts and backs like 7+ tons on ice skates and there aint a thing that you can do to stop it. I'm sure glad most of my land is flat with little slope.
