Been working on a Ford 1910. Glow plugs checked ok, but I changed them anyway. Installed a radiator hose heater. Still hard starting. THEY say they are just that way. I use glow plug about a minute at first, Then crank a bit, glow plug a bit, crank a bit, glow plug a bit etc etc. It will finally hit on all three and runs great. Very poor design. If we are going to use it in the winter I will also add a block heater. About half throttle seems to be better. Just takes awhile to get fuel in it. (Black Smoke) Tried just a SMALL BIT of starting fluid. DON'T DO IT. Need a spray Diesel????
