First off you need solid wire type for your tractor. Carbon wire cannot handle the constant amp and voltage draw you get with a hard pulling engine like a tractor. Also " the zap in wet weather. If you have a radio with your tractor the AM side is going to sound like a chainsaw! At many large older type car shows you can buy all sorts of ignition wire. Remember there is cotton with laquer coat and Hi-voltage black rubber. ALSO it comes in a couple of diameters. Bring a piece with you. These guys will also have all of the different types of ends and boot covers that you would need. Buy a few extra as you may screw up a couple. Some really large tractor shows have big flea markets too. This is a REALLY good excuse to get to that show!!! Most of your local parts stores will not have the OLD type stuff ,or the assortment you need but these guys will. Have fun at that show!
