LOL thing of it is I know cops who carry guns every day but only fire department issue ammo when they are required to do so. Most private gun owners I know shoot more than the cops do. While on active duty the only reason I fired more military ammo than I did civilian off duty was because we had machine guns on the tanks. At the time I retired most soldiers, except infantry and MP's were only authorized 50 rounds per year for practice and qualification. Us guys on tanks fire one sustainment gunnery and one full gunnery each year. We were limited to 50 rounds for our pistols.
