For the last year I've did volunteer work at the county recycling facility. didn't get paid, but they let me take home any thing I wanted. They charged people when they brought in large items, such as appliances, furniture, lawn mowers, etc.. Then they had a scrapper come in and haul the stuff off and he charged them for it. I was making pretty good money selling to the scrap yard and fixing lawn mowers and selling them. Tried to explain to the gal running the facility that the scrapper was cheating her. She said she knew this guy and he told her that his price was the best deal she was going to get. Guess someone finally got her to understand that thing could be sold and not have to pay someone to take it. They won't let me take stuff home any more.
