I'd think so, you're feet, legs should appreciate that, given what you do for a living and beyond. I have been guilty of procrastinating on shoe replacement given the cost, but it seems with age, ones feet need to be on good shoes all the time. I just made the transition from a completely worn out pair, sole flapping on the front, which will trip you while walking up stairs, to a back up but in better condition pair, saved for wearing while using the string trimmer. Support gone, and as much as you clean the insole pads, replace with Scholls, darned things begin to reek, maybe odor eaters work, I don't know, but both are in the trash, been way long overdue. Feels so much better in new shoes, even with break in, I won't hesitate in the future anymore, given the mileage on ones feet, add some extra weight, they do a lot, the walk I take daily is 4+ miles according to the pedometer, so much better on new shoes now.
