Sounds like you have had some excellent service from your Allis.
I really wanted to add an old Allis to my collection. Found one close to the house for cheap. It was one of the last WD's but had the newer style WD45 rear end. Was a neat tractor in a way.
Ergonically, well I did not care for it at all. Wife totally refused to even take it for a test spin. I need the wife to willingly drive so she can tedd or rake while I am at work so no go.
Allis D15, D17, D14, 170 would all be worth a look and much more modern ergonomically. See more narrow fronts on D17 than the others on that list. If you stay with allis your implements that you have picked up should still work.
I would also look at Farmall 300, 350, and 400. NF plentiful on those and reasonably cheap. Farmall 504, 544 (544 is kinda rare in Farmall trim but lots of IH 544 utilities) and 656 too.
Case 530 (technically 540 or 570 for gas), 630 (technically 640 for gas)
If you wanna spend big bucks then JD 2510 or 2520.
Oliver 1550, 1555, 1600, 1650, 1655 also worth a look but they are a bit big. Oliver 770 might be a nice compromise on the size issue but I do not care for the 770 tranny whine or the goofy 770 brake pedal placement.
