The fields are saturated was wondering if I could get my hay dry enough with all the moisture in the ground,?????????
Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport (YNG) received a total of 9.02 inches of rain in the month of June. This makes June 2015 the 3rd wettest June at YNG. The average June rainfall at YNG is 3.79 inches. Only 6 days did not record at least a trace of precipitation at YNG.
Running out of hay need to get some baled soon.

I am 35 miles NE of YNG, had 13 1/8" in my gauge for the month of June. I dropped all of my hay yesterday afternoon when the Sun finally came out. One field of all clover was pretty ugly. Most of the rest looks like it will be good hay if we really get 5 days,
I have never mowed through standing water before. Normally if I hit a Groundhog mound, the header floats over it, yesterday it went through and I had to go find a garden rake to clean the mud off the incline before the rolls(happened multiple times).[/quote]
Good luck with your haying this weekend still wondering about cutting my field ,some forecasters are saying no rain for 5 days .some saying rain saturday , will have to make a decision soon.
