Just got an email from Zoc Doc. Said something about when was the last time I had a dental checkup. Cute cartoon that looked honest and convincing enough. I don't need to be reminded so I scrolled to the bottom of the page looking for and found in bold letters, not hidden in gobbledegoop as is usually the case, was a offering to unsubscribe. So I punched that and my Apple told me it couldn't identify the source and wanted to know if I wanted to proceed. I didn't. I shut down that screen and deleted their email.
Real sneaky way to get you to reply to an email so you can get smacked with malware. Catches you totally off guard, especially since local medical facilities have gone to electronic record keeping and keep in touch with patients via the internet rather than by mail or phone.
These guys just don't let up. Just keep hammering and hammering. If you could captivate the creativity of the criminal mind and could be put to good use, no telling what good could come of it. Definitely some clever minds out there. Course the thrill of deceit wouldn't be there and that's probably their motivating factor.
