The farm price of milk has fallen to near break even or even unprofitable levels again. I have not kept up with what the demand for cheese is doing. The export market can play heck with cheese prices. So the fluid milk prices can be down and cheese still be high.
The shrinking size of package contents really drives me nuts. Take sugar, it is now a four LBS. bag not five LBS. Dog food is a 40 lbs. not fifty. It is like the companies think we consumers are too stupid to not notice the cost per pound or ounce is going up. I guess they could be right with much of the population these days. I wonder how many can figure the cost per pound/ounce??? I bet that is not taught in the schools today. Knowing how to use a condom is more important use of class time these days. They could be right with the diseases we have today too. LOL Life sure seemed simpler when I was younger.
