Hate to ask you but you did replace the fuel filter right? RA doesn't have their own brand they often sell cheap brands but not always. I have replaced a lot of fuel pumps on older vehicles that I could verify original fuel filter or at least ones that have been on there a very long time, turn the filter upside down and brownish/black colored fuel pours out of the inlet. The filter doesn't bypass like an oil filter would, it will eventually stop up or restrict down bad enough to kill a pump.
Fuel pumps aren't cheap the part alone can be 4-$500, most shops aren't going to use cheap parts, especially on difficult jobs or if they want to honor warranty. You should expect a diagnostic charge plus labor to replace so prob 2-3 hrs of labor avg, some a little more some less. I would expect a fuel filter and labor into that bill too.
