The round baler that i like is a Krone , yes they make a soft center bale but they are dependable they are smaller in over all size of the machine , they are pretty much trouble free with fewer moving parts . The only thing that they really do not like is trying to make straw bales behind a Axel Flow combine But they will do it IF you do not try and FORCE feed them . The ones that i sold to my friends and customers have made many thousand bales and only a couple bearings have been replaced and one sprocket where the weld let go due to a bad weld from the factory . And one PTO shaft that the C V joint just plum wore out due to the amount of bales that it made . a 125 or 130 would be a good match for the 504 either with hyd tie or pull rope . If you go that route may i recommended adding the automatic chain oilers if it does not have it on the baler . They make a 4x4 bale and they can be either net wrap or twine .
