I have an 841 so should be very much like yours. The shaft hub is tight on my 841 and you have to hold it just right to get it in. You also have to make sure you have the correct one. I would have to go threw my notes to see if I still have the info on the one I got form this site this past summer due to the old one starting to slip due to wear. I did have to use 2 people so as to get it in. The son slipped it in as I push the drive shaft in so as to hold it in place as he got the bolts started. As I said it is tight and you have to hold your mouth just right and maybe stand on your head and oh you also have to have the 4 bolts in the hub since they will not slip in after you have the hub in
