I have had a couple Blue parrots. They put a clear voice in my ear. I need distinct language to listen to or I don't understand the words. The Blue parrot does put out distinct sounds. Downfall is it doesn't stay in place well if I am wearing it while working in the shop. If I lean forward it wants to fall off. Downfall #2, the other ear is open to outside sounds. Any sound interference at all affects my ability to hear words. I sometimes have trouble understanding voice from the blue parrot even in a quiet cab. For the normal person this is not as much of a problem.

My son uses a Bluetooth headset with a hearing muff over both ears. I don't know the brand name. He can work in a fair amount of noise and not be bothered, but he has good young ears too. Until just recently he spent his life in a truck, now he turns wrenches on trucks but he is constantly using the blue tooth while he cranks wrenches, to manage his trailer leasing business. When I walk into his shop I don't know if he is talking on the Bluetooth or not so sometimes he holds up his hand if he is listening to someone on the other end when I start talking.

If you drive a tractor with no cab or a noisier cab I recommend finding a Bluetooth that has a headphone for each ear. If you don't hear well I don't know what to recommend besides getting expensive Bluetooth capable hearing aids. My hearing aids don't have Bluetooth capabilities so I quite often pull out the hearing aid in the ear I hold the phone to. I would love to have Bluetooth capable hearing aids but don't want to fork over the money for them.

Last niht I dreamed about the day that I plowed the field of about 10 acres over on what Jimmy and Dandy called the Ledbetter field. I was driving the 1948 8N Ford tractor that Jimmy bought in 48 new This was prebably in about 1951 and maybe even befor the house was built. This would have made me to be about16 years old and I drove the tractor for nothing and would have paid to drive it if I had had any money which I didn't, but neit ... [Read Article]
