Mowed this stuff on Thursday afternoon, ran tedder over it on Friday morning and again on Saturday morning then raked and baled it on Saturday afternoon, hauled it in today. It was down from all the rain, thick like hair on a dog's back. Started baling around 3:30 and finished before 6:45, 80 4x5 bales on two different farms 3 miles apart.
The weather reports kept changing on us, which created a mad rush to get it all done on Sat. higher humidity today and a chance of rain showers.....supposed to have had 4-5 days of good weather, but no.....I am getting too old for the racing like we had to get this stuff raked and baled . First time I ever ran 6.5 mph baling on our hill sides. Glad we have smooth fields and know where all the ruff places are.

All pictures in the field were taken from inside an air conditioned tractor cab......yah!!! We would go with 2 wagons and each of us would bring back one.
