What should I do or am I just out a pto? My son bought me a nice 10x60 transport auger at a consignment sale on Sat. The pto shaft was not there. I picked up the auger yesterday and asked about the pto. They did not have it but gave me the owner who sent it to the sales phone number. I called him to ask about the pto and he says it was on the auger and was zip tied fast when he took it there. The auger is a Hutchinson with a swing away hopper and the missing pto shaft is just a short one but it has a double universal which I know will make it very expensive to replace. My guess is that shaft will cost $4-500. The man who took it to the sale feels like the auction company should replace it as it was there when he took it in. It was already gone when we bought it but nothing was said about a pto shaft. They usually remove the pto's and lock them in a building when something comes. What is your opinions? Tom

He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana.
