Probably not. Many fords used a "B" circuit type generator. Those are not even close to the same internally. Here is how to tell if it is the "B" circuit. Take the band off the end to access the brushes. Put a piece of plastic butter tub lid strip, or plastic knife under each brush. If it is a "B" circuit gen, the field terminal on the gen will be showing conduction to the case. If it is an "A" generator, it will no show conduction there, but will show conduction to the Arm terminal (with the plastic holding the brushes up). If it is a 3 brush, all three need to be up, and it is then likely to be a "A" type, and the third brush will conduct to the F terminal. In a "B" type, the field is internally grounded, and the VR gives voltage to the field. In an "A" type the field gets its voltage from the armature internally, and the regulator grounds the field. Way different. Jim

In our particular hobby, we enjoy the nostalgic return to the days of our youth as we recreate many of the scenes that took place on the family farm that served as the stage for the first few acts of the play that is our live
