So the story goes that a college professor wandered into Academy Sports. As he was wandering the isles he came on a beverage container, stopped and just stood there staring. A store associate saw him and went over. "May I help you sir?" "Wha wha what kind of gun does that thing go in?" asked the professor. "Oh, that isn't a rifle cartridge, that's a thermos." "A Thermos? What does it do?" "It keeps hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold." "I've got to have one of those!" The next day the professor proudly took his new found gadget to campus and had it sitting on the corner of his desk. A young student walked by, saw it, and asked "What in the world is that thing?" "That is a thermos," said the prof with his chest swelling with pride. "It keeps hot stuff hot, and cold stuff cold." "Whatcha got in it?" "Chicken soup and an ice cream sandwich."
