My wife just told me that she heard it in a news flash on the TV. It's unfortunate that a terrible thing like this has happened with so many injuries to the people. We'll probably see laws to require boiler inspections and licensing on steam tractors similar to stationary engineer requirements of industrial boilers. Or cities and counties passing ordinances prohibiting steam tractors to be operated on county fairgrounds and/or city parks. Maybe it's time to do so. It will probably restict the showing of these old beauties by not allowing them to be operated when the public is present. I would hate to see these machines have to be winched on and off the trailers and not be under their own power.
