I just purchased a Jacobsen Chief 100A. I am trying to find out what year it is. It is a 100A and has the steel dash area. I just bought it last night and am not sure about the grill, but I think it is steel also. Serial number is 3447. The engine is a Kohler K181, but the manual says it comes with a K161S. However, there is a seperate Kohler manual that came with it that covers K141, K161 and K181 series engines. What I'd really like to know is what year it is and what it's worth. It's in very good condition and is only missing the battery cover and one of the side pulley covers. Any info would be great.
