Well TF, I guess the answer to your last question is the first seven words in your third sentence. It is human nature to spend less on a product that is pretty close in quality to something made here. So Harbor Freight (and Princess Auto up here) benefit from human nature, that makes sense. The Chinese can (and do) make products that are the equivalent (or even better) of those made anywhere else BUT (and this is the killer) you have to pay for it which is painful.
