I would recomend you taking your tractor when it's been cooled off for awhile and run it through a coin operated car wash. Then you don't have to have all the slop in your drive way/ garage floor. After washing it off pretty well. I use oven cleaner on the area's that were reach-able and on the inside of the valve cover, along with the head when that was removed. If the engine is set-up, I was told that "CLR" when diluted was pretty good at freeing up stuck engines, although I've never tried it personaly.
