A rotating nozzle on the pressure washer will greatly increase it's stripping power and Northen Tool Co. sells an upstream detergent injector that has garden hose threads for about $30.00,does not have to be left in permanently if you don't want to. Have a friend in the municipal water tank refinishing business and he says any thing that stays on the metal after they use a 5,000psi pressure washer and the rotating nozzle, they repaint it and do not have a problem, says they use a corrosion inhibitor in the water as they clean to prevent rust from forming before they get it painted, says also they don,t have as big a dust problem, but he says beware of the possible warpage of thin stuff!
