i have a melroe bobcat model 742. i don't know what year it is. the seat safety bar is working properly in the mechanical sense. i spent some time today looking at everything. i figured out how to swing the roll cage back and looked at some hydraulics. i broke some lines at the filter and the pump is working ok. lots of fluid pumping there and at the pump on the back of the motor. there isn't any dirt blocking any of the mechanical lockouts. i think that one of the valves must have a blockage or has failed. looks like a real pain to get to. the arms will go up but won't come down hydraulically. they will bleed down overnite. the bucket won't move at all. it starts and runs okay, but i can hear a whine that i have never heard before, and i think it is a valve. i am an aircraft mechanic, but i don't have any manuals for this thing. my troubleshooting skills are okay, but i do need some help since i can't identify any wiring or pumps or valves. i don't see any electrical lockouts, but there is a pressure switch on the pump that is tied to a valve. maybe that direction? help, i need a schematic.
