Your overlooking the best choice, the Duramax. I've owned both powerstroke and cummins,this chevy puts them both to shame.A lot better ride than either,brakes that actually work,and a tranny that won't fall out like either the dodge or ford.You can chip the ford or dodge to compete with the D-max,but that voids the warranty.There's a lot of rumors floating around about the D-max engine,especially heads, but that's all bull.Ever notice that it's always the friend of a friend or someones uncle twice removed who there quoting.The fuel milage is not however what they were claiming it would be. I get around 17 with the empty,3500,4x4 dually, and around 14 pulling an empty 30 ft. gooseneck, that weighs 8000 pounds.
