TAZ, Pedal free travel should be 1/2" to 1" measured at the level of the top side of the frame channel. Adjustment can be made on the pedal rod or on the pressure plate. All of the lever adjustment bolts should be adjusted equal distance from the throwout bearing surface. Uneven adjustment could account for the clutch being "stuck". These adjustment bolts can be accessed through the bottom plate on the clutch housing. There is a short post under the lever that the adjustment bolt pivots on. If this is broke off, the clutch can't be adjusted and will be "stuck". The problem with adjustment, usually comes on slowly, with shifting becoming harder and harder. If the tractor has just sat for a long time, the problem could be rust or dirt and oil residue that has set up. Duey
