Pulling the wire conforms that you have spark to the plug, but not through it. Change out the plug. Something else you can try is to pull the wire away from the plug while it is running. If it smooths out while holding the wire about 1/4 - 3/4 inch from the plug, then that plug is fouled. The extra gap induced by holding the wire away causes firing voltage requirements to rise, burning away the fouled deposits. If it still won't fire, sounds like a compression test is in order. A backyard compression test would be to take coil wire out of the cap and ground it so engine will not start. Crank engine and listen to the sound it makes while cranking. You should be able to hear each cylinder come up on compression as the engine turns. If you have a spot that freewheels, there is a problem with one of the cylinders. Good luck.
