DY354C
DY3 = 4610 orchard model
5 = diesel with horizontal exhaust
4 = ind pto
C = 8x2 trans
Serial number BB6710-- is for a tractor built in 1988
Not sure what style axle a orchard model has but the AP models have one steering arm on the left, SU models have two like the 3610 models
Thank you very much. May be the AP model because of the one pitman arm. I wasn t sure if I was understanding descriptions correctly. It does have the larger rear wheels, next weekend (I work out of town) I ll write down all of the numbers on the rear end. I know it is a 8 speed, same shift pattern as our 5610 at work. I have some work to do to her for sure looks like a rear axel seal on the left. Has some issues with the controller on the front end loader hard to get into bucket tip up position. The throttle lever won t stay in position. I also need to look at the lift/draft levers they don t have tension on them and they drift down, when the tractor is off the hydraulics do hold and don t bleed down.
Again thanks for all of your expertise. What repair manual do you suggest I get?

In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999. He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana.
