I replaced the coolant and thermostat in my 580C yesterday and noticed when I drained the radiator after running the tractor a bit the first coolant to drain was cool and the last fluid to drain was warm.
I ran the tractor for about 1.5 hours today filling in a ditch with loose material and used an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of the block, upper radiator hose, and lower radiator hose. The air temp when I made those readings was about 45F and the needle on my temperature gauge was barely into the green.
The readings were as follows:
Block = 176F
Upper Radiator Hose = 87F
Lower Radiator Hose (near water pump) = 77F
Lower Radiator Hose (near radiator) = 47F
Do these readings seem abnormal given the cool air temperature when I made them and, if so, what might be the problem?
