Last year was the first year I rang the bell for the Salvation Army and the Wife asked if I was going to do it again this year--said will wait to see if the "boss" calls me and wants me or not. He called the week before Thanksgiving and just got home from my sixth "gig" tonight--Fun! I am the only one of the volunteers that sings to the people and they must like it for the $ count--He did not tell me how much--set the one day best since he has been involved this last Wednesday--He was all smiles and gave me a "fist bump" I can't carry a tune in a bushel basket but the passage about making a joyful noise unto the Lord must work--Lots of smiles. The little kids are the best--Their parents give them money to put in the kettle and I ask everyone of them if they have been good--They all say YES--I give them a candy cane and they are all smiles! I bought the local Dollar General out of candy canes! If any of you have a opportunity to do this please do---Tee
Two of my favorite girls--My Granddaughter and Daughter in-law! They and Son came to get groceries at Fareway.....
