Have you tried doing a hot wire from the battery to the coil to see if it has spark and or will fire up?? As for just loading it to haul it to your place you can take the wire off the starter switch put it in 1st gear then touch that wire to the transmission case and let the starter pull it on the trailer. Let it move it self for say 30 second to a minute then stop and wait a minute or 2 for the starter to cool off ten do it again. I've done that many many times.
