Seems like its the people withOUT the cash that buys new these days $0 down, $0 interest,'easy' payments sell the new ones for $70,000 to guy that just signs his name because he doesn't have $10,000 cash to buy a real nice used comparable tractor. I could pay cash for a new tractor if I wanted one and I think the main reason I'm in position to be able to do that is because I have never bought a new tractor. If its like past history at the next serious economic downturn the repos in tractors and vehicles will be cut loose at huge discount prices. My first goose neck trailer was a new bank repo back in 1980 bought it for less than half what the dealer had been asking for it from the bank.In my opinion now is the time to sit tight gather up cash,Gold,Silver and wait. The worst thing that can happen is to end up with a lot of cash, Gold and Silver.
