Last fall when we went to combine the beans in the fields west of the house we soon found that the water was running across the top of the ground and down the waterway for the inlet to catch the water that flows under the road was plugged. We combined it but the combines and the cart left some big ruts in the water way--so instead of tearing the whole thing up I took a little 12 ft. field cultivator I made and went up and down the it real slow at first to level it out. Then took my Ford 860 with the 3 pt. seeder and put down some oats with brome grass. Old school fix but I think it will work. We got 1/2 in. of rain Tues. so it is just right.---Tee

3 pt. seeder-I pull rope to turn seed on
Ran RPM real slow for was not taking a very wide swath and pulled coil tine drag behind it to cover seed
Used the Deere with duals to firm the seed in the soil
