My Uncle didn’t want the expense of a new roof to keep his barn insured five years ago (he’s 85 and in poor health). He sold it to an Amish outfit that dismantled it piece by piece. They bought everything, all the lumber, stanctions, barn cleaner, windows, fans, and the well pump. He made enough on it to buy a two year old Ford Taurus and new kitchen appliances. They had everything down and loaded in 6 days. Crew of 12 to 15. His place is 15 miles north of Appleton, WI. The was rebuilt near Amherst, WI. These folks do amazing work. Good to see these old buildings repurposed.
