I often buy pails of hyd oil, engine oil by pail or jug case of grease cartridge etc when on sale as I know I will use it sooner or later. I often buy oil filters 2 or 3 at a time for the same reasons. I usually have some baler twine left to start the year, used to buy a year worth at the winter NY farm show but that’s canceled for this year. I agree with you buying ahead for the season for the silage bags, it may be unnecessary but why chance it. Several different years when they were still operating my neighbors would come up to borrow twine at the last minute, and always said “I would have sworn we had some left but I didn’t check.”
