I would think that the mod can let you run the old one or combine them.
As an aside, I've been meaning to ask you about Colorado peaches. Been eating them forever when I can get them for a couple weeks each year. So a year before last fall I called a couple peach growers out there by Grand Junction as I wanted to plant some Colorado peach trees. I was shocked to learn that they used regular ole peach trees bot from nurseries around Wenatchee, Washington. They said it was the soil and climate that made Colorado peaches get their flavor. So I called a nursery and talked to a nice lady and they ship trees by the truck load to Colorado. Turns out they use different varieties that have staggered harvest dates from July through September. Ended up ordering 9 trees, 5 peach of staggered harvest dates, 2 apple, and 2 cherry. She said they would take 3 years to produce. Planted them last spring and after a month or two of summer, 3 of the peach and 1 of the cherry didn't make.
Plan on replacing them and adding more if not too late to order but am wondering what you know about growing Colorado peaches? Do I need to come out and get a load of Delta Dirt? Thanks.
