Hi All,
First post so I hope it's in the right place.
Recently purchased a Deutz D6006A or it may be a 6206A (is there an easy way to determine this?). Unfortunately here in southern Australia the Deutz expertise is hard to come by so I have a few questions that hopefully someone may be able to help me with.
1) Hydraulic oil what should it be? - Should this be a universal 15W-40 oil for this tractor? The hydraulics are slow and do not reach pressure without serious RPM and it appears the oil in the tractor is much thinner than a standard universal 15W-40, maybe a someone has used a 32 weight hydraulic oil instead?
2) Hydraulic pump has a leaking shaft seal so it probably will get a rebuild or replacement, are there any details of what was fitted as far as brand/model of pump used?
3) 3PL hiccups at top of stroke - reserving judgement on that one until confirming correct oil but easy to rebuild should that need seals? Does it need OEM parts or standard off the shelf seals available?
