Use to work parts counter ran into this all the time .
Pennsylvania titles a car the year it sold. So Do it yourselfer comes into Ohio store and sayes he needs brakes for a titled 90 Ford F-150 ,the truck is a 91 model f150 . Comes back cussing throwing counter displays on the floor . I drove 30 miles dah dah dah , manager sayes what year is it ? I told a ninety! Anoles, Then his wife sayes honey the trucks 91
Were only as good as what your wifes says when you send her in to get parts for a 350 Chevy there all the same ? Dah dah
This stores are for Do it Yourself , have the right facts when they ask , tell them you got a 82 dodge w 200 with a 1978 w200 front axle if you want wheel u joints. And the transfer case is out of a 80 for propeller shaft u joints .
A do it yourself came in with 2006 dodge caravan said we always give him the wrong brakes for his caravan said look up warranty file and give me what I got before ,cause you never give me the right parts brakes calipers etc. So I look it up as he said . sure enough somebody put 2002 Dodge caravan front brakes and calipers on his 2006 . No wonder he got the wrong parts all the time , wasnt t our fault but he never said he was sorry ,but sure shut up about from then on .
Never send your wife in to do your job or call in for parts it s hilarious.
