I agree, some things just used to be made to last. My dad has a truck he got when he was eighteen (he is 78). The truck has never ran in that time. I wanted to move it. Tires were flat and had wide cracks. He said air them up and drag it out. I said there is no way that will work. All four aired up and held. I just put enough pressure to make them somewhat round but there is no way that would work with tires made today.
