I use Wal-Mart ether! Don't use soap and water! Do you want to build in rust? I spray the tire and rim with WD 40. Spray some ether in the tire and spray a trail down the side of the tire to act as a fuse. People have lost fingers trying to throw a match inside of the tire! I have 2 clamp on air chucks. I removed the stem in one so I could put air in a tire with no valve core! Throw a match or use a torch to lite the fuse! Whump! it is seated, but the hot gas immediately contracts and will pull the beads back off! You have to hit it with air as fast as you can! Two people helps here! I would have that tire seated in 10 seconds and no built in rust! I have been changing my own tires my whole life! If the WD 40 doesn't work, use oil! Let us know how it works out!
