Ma always had Daschunds. They kept the wood stove warm in the winter. The little liebschens would peddle down to the milking parlor twice a day to help out. As dairies did we had Golden Marlin set out in the summer months without incident. One day that hund decided she should sample this golden delicacy. It was a sad site but Ma angrily forced raw milk down its throat and when both had enough Ma left her for come what may. That hund drug herself back to the house and shook like an aspen in the breeze. About three days passed before she was herself again.
