It looks like the spring thaw has arrived, and in my area of Eastern Washington, now is the time that you don't dare drive a tractor or much of anything else off the gravel. For about the next month, the mud will prevent doing anything with the tractor, and I will have to be very careful any place that is low for another month after that. I hate to get stuck! The winter has been fairly mild, never down to zero and the numerous snows have melted and not accumulated at my elevation, so the moisture has stayed where it fell pretty well, not run off. Hopefully we will continue to get average precipitation through the Spring. It was so dry last year. Cabin fever reigns. Oh well, I have some time for the computer and the high school basketball tournaments are soon.
