Bushhogs typically go very high at auctions around here. I've never seen a good one under $500 for a 6 footer.Woods 4 footers go for $750 new at the local John Deere place I was told. AS a rule on auction implements sales, INspect well, looking for things like no gears in the gearbox, missing brackets, broken stuff hidden by fresh paint, etc. Check out your local discount farm supplier and take notes on what he wants for new with warranty. I don't like paying over 50 percent of that for anything used unless it is real nice. SOme of the less popular stuff might go for pennies on the dollar.
