Ryan, I have three vintage tractors of my own and, like you, had relatively no knowledge of them until I began the restoration of my first Ferguson TED20 two years ago. Now I have completed it, another Ferguson TED20 followed and I am currently working on a 1957 Ferguson FE35. I found the most usefull source of information was the magazine "Tractor and Machinery", which is monthly, coming out on the 16th of each month I think. It's always got plenty of technical information, rally reports and pictures which would help in your identification. I really enjoy my hobby and hope to continue so, I'm currently looking for a narrow vineyard Ferguson to restore. I placed a wanted add in "Tractor and Machinery" and am following up the few responses I got. Good Luck.
