splitting a cub

It's been 20 years but when we split ours we used threaded rods in the bolt holes. We removed the bolts (1 at a time) and slipped in the rod. I think we used 4 of them. Then we pulled the tractor apart and made the repairs. However I think we were replacing a transmission part. It may work for the clutch also. If not at least the tractor is apart and in-line. Then all you would need to do is make sure its blocked if you needed to pull the rod or rods.
