I remember Dad having a '38 Farmall F-20 on cutoffs from the time I was 3 or 4. I learned to drive this one when I was around 8 or 9. Dad traded that on a '53 Super H around 1958 or 59. Boy talk about being on top of the world!! I bought a '51 H at a farm sale in 1960 and sold it to Dad when I had to leave the farm in '63. He later traded both the Super and the H on one new tractor of another color. I really wished that I could have kept either one of the Farmalls that I kinda grew up on. Two years ago I got the bug to have one of these old H's to play with so I went back to Mo and bought a '46 H and have been re-doing it. Last year, I picked up a '50 H which is the next project. Like I really need any tractors as I live in town and they will only be used for playtoys, but I goe 'em anyway. You wouldn't believe how many new friends I've made with these tractors sitting in the driveway in town. All sorts of older folks stop just to talk and remember their younger days. All the kids in the neighborhood stop to check them out. This kind of thing makes the whole project worthwhile to me. Larry
