Check your tune up and related compents first.This is where you should find the problem. If not other things to look for and check are your engine wiring make sure its not chaffed and its secured properly. Then check you fuel system...fuel lines to close to exhaust cause vapor locking a commom cause while the tractor is working under a load.In worst cases the exhaust will even heat the fuel in the carb. up boling the gas in the bowl.95% of the time if this happens the tractor runs great at all throttle speeds while not moving but while working it starts to sputter then enventually shuts down. Check carb. closely it may need to be rebuilt. A cheap soultion to keep this from occuring again is to build a heat shield for you carb. hope this will help you
