i like the stability of the wide front when on the side of a hill or incline or when in a ditch. however, i have had experience with the changing from the wide to the narrow in order to use mounted equipment. this mounted equipment includes a four row cultivator as well as one of the old corn shellers. we got tired of taking the counter weights off and putting back on so we just left them off.
