Serial number should positively ID the tractor. Hydraulic levers on the dash would indicate the older style- Didn't the hydraulic SIDE console start in late 68, or 69? POWERSHIFT tranny had 8 forward, 4 reverse. Synchro had two or three reverse and eight forward speeds, had to be clutched to shift. 4520 styling was similar, but the serial number would ID the tractor. Previous poster had the brakdown as to what letters and digits mean.
