Hi TH, You are not wasting your time. The AC-B is a great little tractor for small subsistance type farm operations. That's what it was developed to do; basically replace the horse. The only disadvantage of the B is that it uses proprietary mounted implements and lacks the more modern 3pt hitch. But it works well at what it does. It just cannot compete with modern, larger equipment on a commercial scale in today's world. Try to get the 2way pick-up plows if you can. They will be easier to use on a 2 or 3 acre plot. The B is a single bottom plow tractor but having both right and left hand bottoms makes it somewhat easier to use. For example, you can plow from one side of the plot rather than both sides working towards the middle. Go one way with the right bottom and come right back up the same furrow with the left bottom and so on.
